Sport has the power to change the world; it is a fundamental right, a powerful tool to strengthen social ties and promote sustainable development and peace as well as solidarity, and respect. On April 6th, we celebrated the UN-sanctioned International Day of Sport for Development and Peace.

Watch this webinar, from the Global Initiative for DEI in Curling, hosted by Mariann Bardocz-Bencsik, PhD, to learn about this day. Showcased is the Goldline Curling project called #UnitedWeCurl, that seeks to amplify BIPOC voices through innovative brush design and invests the proceeds back into local communities. Listen as myself, Erin Flowers, and Andrew Paris present this unique and fantastic project. Also watch as Andrew Paris provides a sneak peek of his newly founded Black Rock Initiative!
