The final curtain is about to drop on the 2024–25 Grand Slam of Curling season—and there’s no better stage than downtown Toronto. From April 8–13, the AMJ Players’ Championship takes over the Mattamy Athletic Centre, bringing the world’s best curlers together for one last clash before the off-season.

This isn’t just any event—it’s the fifth and final Slam of the year, where only the top 12 men’s and 12 women’s teams get the invite. With the biggest prize purse of the season on the line and playoff implications hanging in the balance, the intensity is about to skyrocket.

Who’s In and What’s at Stake

Teams are split into two pools per division, each playing five round-robin games within their pool. The top six teams will move on to playoffs, and the top two earn direct semifinal spots—a major advantage when the stakes are this high.

But before the competition begins, fans are in for a treat: on April 7, watch Team Homan and Team Mouat square off in the first-ever Rio Mare Battle of the Sexes—a unique exhibition match that’s all about bragging rights and fun.
