When we introduced Pursuer foam, we raised concerns about whether this emerging foam technology might allow too much control on the ice and advocated for caution across the industry. Our goal was to ensure that all equipment remained within the spirit of fair play and World Curling’s stated performance objectives.

Since then, their official approval has been confirmed, and they will remain in play for the foreseeable future. Additionally, World Curling has determined there has been no conclusive evidence that these foams exceed the intended performance parameters they set for sweeping equipment.

Given these developments, we fully support players using whatever equipment best suits their game. At the same time, we remain committed to ensuring that sweeping technology continues to align with the core principles of fairness, consistency, and skill-based play.

As we have said previously, Pursuer foam elevates our Impact broom, which was already the best broom we’ve ever made, to deliver the highest level of performance available today.

Goldline Curling remains dedicated to supporting fair play and transparency within the sport. We will continue to collaborate with governing bodies, athletes, and industry stakeholders to uphold the integrity of curling at all levels.
